adidas Forum Lo LEAD Atlanta Core Black GZ6604
From environmental awareness with Parley to recruiting female-led brands such as HER Studio London for new styles of footwear, adidas has long encouraged collaborations that promote worthy causes. The sportswear brand now honors black communities and their leaders who are changing the world one neighborhood at a time, as it partners with Atlanta-based nonprofit LEAD for a new adidas Forum Lo.
Founded by couple CJ and Kelli Stewart, LEAD aims to empower young people in Atlanta to manage their vision for the future. Love for Atlanta is channeled through the suede uppers of Forum Lo, which features a subtle, tonal city map pattern. The aforementioned suede features a ‘bright red’ tone on the toe while coloring the rest of the model in black. However, there are touches of orange on the trefoil logo on the tongue label and the “LEAD ATLANTA” branding on the ankle strap. The black strap and laces can be replaced with “Bright Red” options to match the toe. A typical white rubber midsole sits under the base but adds an element of surprise underfoot. The translucent outsole reveals ‘AMBASSADOR’ text in a graffiti font to complement the collaborative design.
Take a closer look at the Lo Forum below, which is available for purchase now at adidas.com priced at $ 100.
