Camps for young Blackhawks are planned
Several camps will be offered to young athletes this summer.
Little TrackHawks Summer Camp
Little TrackHawks 2022 Summer Camp is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 31 through Thursday, June 2.
The camp is for boys and girls entering grades two through seven. The camp is $30 and will take place on the track and in indoor facilities.

Lil’ Hawks Basketball Camp
The basketball camp for incoming boys and girls in grades one through seven will be held from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 31 through Thursday, June 2. The cost is $60.
Classes from first to third year will be held in the college gymnasium. Years four through five will be held in the college gymnasium. Years six through seven will take place in the arena.

FLIGHT Football School
FLIGHT The football school is scheduled from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm from Monday June 6th to Thursday June 9th.
“A fun camp to teach introductory football skills under the mentorship of the current Blackhawks,” according to head coach Brey Cook, the camp is for all young Northwest Arkansas athletes from the first in the sixth year. “Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy the FLIGHT.”
The camp will take place indoors and on the football pitch. The cost is $20 per day for $60 for the four-day camp if pre-registered. Concessions will be available. School lunch will be provided.
The schedule is Monday: Navy football; Tuesday: Inflatable house 2.0; Wednesday, Jersey Day; and Thursday you will be wet.
Volleyball/Cheerleading Summer Camp 2022
The volleyball/cheerleading summer camp will be held June 21-23 for students in grades two through six for the 2022-23 school year.
The cost of the camps is $50, volleyball camp only, cheerleading camp only $50 or $80 for volleyball and cheerleading camp.
Volleyball: The Blackhawk Volleyball Program will host a skills camp to help improve individual skills and teach the fundamentals of volleyball. The camp will be led by Pea Ridge High School volleyball staff and current players. Players will introduce the fundamentals of the volleyball program with an emphasis on great character.
Good to know: the Volleyhawks camp will take place at the Jr. High Gym. Participants must come in sportswear and tennis shoes. Knee pads are not mandatory but some prefer to wear them. Participants will receive a t-shirt on the first day of camp and rewards on Thursday (the last day of camp). At the end of camp each day we will have lunch delivered from the summer lunch program. Participants who practice both cheering and volleyball will be taken to cheer camp (held in the Primary gymnasium) each day. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch if they prefer.
Cheerleading: The Blackhawk Cheerleading Program will host a skills camp to help improve individual skills and teach the fundamentals of cheerleading. The camp will be led by Pea Ridge High School cheerleading staff and current players. Players will introduce the fundamentals of the Cheerleading program with an emphasis on character and skill achievement.
Good to know: Cheerleading camp will be held in the Primary gymnasium. Participants must come in sportswear and tennis shoes. They will also need their hair to be completely swept back from their face and shoulders if possible. Participants will receive a t-shirt on the first day of camp and daily rewards. A snack will be offered each day of camp.
