Nike KD 15 “Light Lemon Twist” DM1056-700 Released
Kevin Durant has had an impressive 2021-22 NBA season. And while his fate and that of his Brooklyn Nets team in the Playoffs has yet to be determined, the Washington DC native is kicking off his upcoming post-season with the Nike KD 15, his new signature basketball shoe.
The silhouette is expected to emerge in Nets-appropriate monochromatic styles, but his first two sets have favored bold, multi-colored looks that command attention just like Durant’s game. A newly resurfaced colorway pairs an almost fluorescent “Light Lemon Twist” hue with contrasting pops of fuchsia, purple, blue, and red. A nod to the striker”@easymoneysniper“The Instagram grip appears on the heel tab, a detail omitted on the KD 14. The underfoot Zoom air cushion doesn’t protrude out the sides of the KD 15 as it did on its predecessor, but it’s unlikely that performance has been negatively affected by the change.
Enjoy official images of Durant’s latest sneaker offering and anticipate a Nike.com launch near the end of the NBA season. (Some retailers have informed Sneaker News that the shoes are currently slated for release on April 30, though that date is just a placeholder for a later launch. Either way, stay tuned.)
