Update: Overland Park Police said in an email at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday that Barbara Spearman was found safe.

Overland Park Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who has been missing since Monday.

A silver alert was issued Tuesday morning to help locate Barbara Spearman, a 64-year-old Overland Park resident who has medical conditions that require her to take medication, police said.

She hasn’t heard from her since leaving her home on Monday evening to pick up dinner.

Police said they did not know Spearman’s whereabouts, but said she was driving a bright red 2008 Toyota Camry with license plate number 084NBG. The frame of the license plate reads “OU Sooners,” police said.

She was known to last wear a dark blue t-shirt, purple sweatpants and white tennis shoes.

Anyone who knows Spearman’s whereabouts is asked to call Overland Park Police at 913-895-6300.
