Stevie Johnson says Bills Only Team in New York at draft [WATCH]

The 2022 NFL Draft is almost over in three rounds (as I type this), and it’s been a very unpredictable draft so far. 12 wide receivers went to the top 54 picks and only one quarterback went to the top 73 picks.

The Buffalo Bills retired cornerback Kaiir Elam from Florida in the first round (23rd overall) and they traded twice in the second round before signing Georgia running back James Cook with the 63rd overall pick.

Cook is the brother of Minnesota Vikings all-pro running back Dalvin Cook and is explosive with tremendous pass-catching ability. He should fit perfectly into the Bills offensive scheme.

Cook’s pick was announced in Las Vegas during the draft by former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson.

Johnson won over Bills fans in the crowd after proclaiming the Bills were the only NFL team in New York State.

Stevie is one of the Bills’ most beloved players of the last 20 years and this is a playbook for him to do. He’s easily one of my favorite Bills players during the drought; one of the best road runners of any receiver of our generation.

The Bills will pick 89th overall. They have six picks on Saturday, including four in the sixth round.

The wide receiver, linebacker and offensive line seem like the most likely targets.
